Chapters in the right order
EPUBs declare their reading order internally (the "spine"), and SpeedRead follows it — front matter, chapters, and back matter arrive in the sequence the publisher intended, with formatting flattened into a clean word stream.
DRM-protected books
Books bought from stores that apply DRM (Kindle, Apple Books, and some Kobo titles) are encrypted and cannot be read by any external tool, SpeedRead included. DRM-free EPUBs — from Project Gutenberg, Standard Ebooks, humble bundles, or DRM-free publishers — work perfectly.
